KAT-TUN's New PV "Dead Or Alive"

I don't know if I am "Dead or Alive" right now after watching KAT-TUN's new PVs! Wow they were amazing!

Let's focus on "Dead Or Alive" first...

This PV features KAT-TUN wondering around a town-like place which is covered in mist. This adds a mystical feel to the PV and concept of KAT-TUN being spies, I think.

The last scene of the PV saw KAT-TUN standing underground and the background dropped over them, which made KAT-TUN stand in little windows and then they climbed out of them and stood on top of the fallen background being all KAT-TUN-like.

Umm... Did that make sense?! Haha

Well here are some pictures for you to check out what I meant, since I don't want to upload the PV here... Sorry!

Bonus...

The live performance on Samazu no Uta Furi last month saw KAT-TUN perform amazingly as always. However, there was a slight twist to this performance... Ueda! As the song finished, all this smoke came on the stage as KAT-TUN was getting ready to strike their final pose, the next minute we see Uepi emerge from the smoke as a girl!!! I have to say that Uepi makes a really cute Lolita girl!!

Anyway, I'm going to write more about this single when my copy of it arrives or I find it online later. Especially the long awaited solo PV from Kame!! "Hanasanaide Ai"!!!

Look forward to it!!

Quote of the Day!!

Today's quote is from my favourite song from Johnny's Entertainment's amazing group SMAP.

The song is called "Sekai ni Hitotsu Dake no Hana". The loose translation is "The only flower in the world".

The first time I heard this song from SMAP I instantly fell in love with it. Regardless of the fact that I knew basically no Japanese when I heard this song for the first time. Now that I have an average understanding of Japanese, I love this song even more!!

I really love the meaning of the song. This song holds a really deep meaning about staying the way you are and not becoming like everyone else since we are all different and unique people.

Without further adieu... Here are the lyrics...
I looked at all kinds of flowers
Lined up in front of the flower shop
Each person prefers a different type
But they’re all beautiful
None of them fight
Over who’s the best
They just stand up tall and proud
In their buckets
So how come we people
Want to compare ourselves like this?
Why do we want to be the best
When everybody’s different?
Yes, each of us is
A flower there’s only one of in the whole world
Each of us has their own seeds
So let’s just do our best
To make them grow into flowers
There are people whose smiles are strained
Because they’re completely lost
But it doesn't matter
Because every flower that’s worked so hard to grow is beautiful
Eventually someone came
Out of the flower shop
Carrying a bunch of flowers in all different colours
His face looked so happy
I didn't know his name
But he gave me a smile
Like a flower that had bloomed
In a place nobody had noticed
Yes, each of us is
A flower there’s only one of in the whole world
Each of us has their own seeds
So let’s just do our best
To make them grow into flowers
Little flowers and big flowers
Not one is the same as another
You don’t need to be number one
You’re special, the only one of you, to begin with
So I hope you find the strength to stay the way you are and look at people the way they are and don't try to change them either.

Kamenashi's Sexy New Drama... Second Love!

As a huge fan of Johnny's Entertainment and KAT-TUN, I have known the struggles to see my favourite guys play roles in dramas which involve any sort of contact with the opposite sex.

Therefore, when news about Kame acting in a "night melodrama" and "adult love story" you can just image mine and other Hyphen's reactions!

Even Kame himself is excited for this drama when interviewed for Qlap!;

"Kei’s been raised overseas, and so he goes after women with burning desire. There’s no shyness whatsoever, from the first episode he sticks his hand inside her skirt!? It’s not like that kind of kiss scene were it’s like a “ah, we kissed”-feeling, it’s way greater than that. As those scenes are as frequent as a conversation would take place…….. don’t miss it! (broad grin)"

Also there is a chance that KAT-TUN will sing the opening theme "KISS KISS KISS"!! Nothing is confirmed yet; but I'm praying!!

So what is this drama about apart from getting the chance to see a naked Kame?

The plot...

Kamenashi Kazuya plays the role of Taira Kei, a young man who dreams of being a contemporary dancer while being earnestly in love with an older woman. Kei has a talent for contemporary dance since he was young and went to study in Germany to join a dance company in his teens. He has won several international competitions and was referred to as a “prodigy”. However, he encountered a setback in the middle and got frustrated. He returned to Tokyo and takes a part-time work while he tries to re-capture his dream.

Fukada Kyoko, plays Nishihara Yui, a Chemistry teacher in her 30s, working at a prestigious high school. Even while continuing a love affair with a married colleague, she was still lonely until she meets Kei and gets swallowed in passion.

For more information, check out the official website: http://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/secondlove/

“Second Love” will air every Friday, 11:15 pm, starting 6 February 2015 on TV Asahi.

Quote of the Day!

Everyone loves a good quote or saying or amazing lyrics; and I'm no exception!

Therefore, I am going to create a little section that focuses on these little beauties. From pop lyrics to Shakespeare, motivational quotes to random statements from historical figures, and from my favourite dramas and anime.

So I hope you enjoy my little quotes of the day and share them with others.

My first quote is...
Enjoy the little things in life, because one day you will look back, and realise they were the big things.

I found this quote somewhere online and heard it around too. This quote means a lot to me since I suffer from slight amnesia (it's a long story involving a horse and falling off it); therefore, I value the small things in life more than anything.

Like seeing your friends smile as they talk about something they love, or walking home in the rain without an umbrella, or enjoying the smell of freshly cut grass and so on...

These little things are things that most people take for granted so I hope everyone who is reading this blog starts to value these little things in life more regularly. No one wants to live life with regrets... Because one day in the future they might not exist and you will realise too late that they were indeed big things!!

Random information about me...

Hello to everyone who is reading this blog!

My online codename is Misaki Usagi or Usagi-chan. I don't really know why or where I got the idea for this codename. But I use it everywhere!!! For example livejournal, twitter and tumblr. Feel free to check them out on the left...

I mean on the right side of my blog but you know what I meant... Haha!

What are my hobbies you ask?! I enjoy long walks on the beach...

Haha! Okay I was just kidding, but that idea always sounded so amazing to me.

Anyway...

I enjoy playing basketball every now and again with my university friends; consistent failed attempts at drawing manga; watching a whole tv series in one day or over a week if it has multiple seasons; major fan of gif sets as you will see; and lastly but not least, fangirling 24/7 with a million of fandoms at my fingertips!!

So proud of that last one since it helps me to further develop my time management and organisational skills and my patience ability to a whole new unworldly level!!

My main fandom that I belong to is... Johnny's Entertainment!!

I'm in love with every single JE groups ever debuted and all the Johnny's Jrs. My ultimate number one group of all time is... KAT-TUN!!!! Been by their side every step of the way, through happy and sad times, since 2004!!! So proud to be a HYPHEN!!!

My second main fandom is SM Entertainment. Totally in love with the boy bands. Especially the ever so shinning SHINee, and the kings of K-Pop... SUPER JUNIOR!! My handsome husband (only in my head) Eunhyuk is the reason for my love of SuJu!!

I have many other boy bands that I just adore. Like ACID BLACK CHERRY, ADAMS, U-KISS, 2PM, HANGENG, 2AM, EXILE, SHINHWA, ONE OKAY ROCK and soloist Lee Junki and the list keeps going!!!

I have to say that I'm sorry but I'm not really into girl groups. For some reason I don't like them. Except for Becky, PERFUME and f(x), with the occasional song from Girl's Generation and KARA.

Well it looks like this post is starting to stretch on now. So to wrap up a bit...

This blog will include my thoughts on my boys, dramas I watch or rewatch (I'm looking at you GOKUSEN!!), random quotes and lyrics, cd/mv releases and sometimes my daily life adventures if I ever have any!!

So that is all for now. Hope you enjoy my blog and come to love that same things I do or see things differently from my view.
